Demonstration of SiSTeCATI in Pusat Bahasa USM
Welcome to visit the lab at Pusat Bahasa USM for demonstration of SiSTeCATI. The following demos will be available:
1. SiSTeCATI Courseware Generator
2. SiSTeCATI On-Demand Online Video Translation
3. SiSTeCATI AI-Live Interpretation

1. Demo: SiSTeCATI Courseware Generator
- Play the lecture video (by Dr. Tang EK).
- Use the Windows Snipping Tool to capture a short clip from the lecture video.
- Use the video clip as input for the SiSTeCATI_input_file.
- Demonstrate video transformation into an enhanced video as well as multiple languages translated videos.
(Highlight: The generated videos can be uploaded to YouTube, allowing students to review the lecture afterward.)
- Use the video clip as input to NotebookLM to generate a slide deck and script.
- Demonstrate the SiSTeCATI courseware generator, creating a video based on the slide deck (PDF) and script (text file segmented by slide numbers).

2. Demo: On-Demand Online Video Translation with SiSTeCATI_online_video
- Hands-on: Configure speaker settings correctly.
(Highlight: This feature can be used for translation of live YouTube videos or news broadcasts, or watching related courseware conducted in a unfamiliar foreign language.)
3. Demo: SiSTeCATI Live Interpretation
A. Live Streaming a Lecture via Laptop
- Record slides directly from the laptop screen.
- Use a smartphone running Google Meet to capture the stage view and capture clear audio with a remote microphone.
B. Remote SiSTeCATI Video Translation
- Translate the live-streamed lecture from part (A) in real time.
C. Live Streaming the Translated Video
- Stream the translated video to the audience via YouTube for viewing on mobile devices.
